The Hispanic Commission of Coatesville (THCC)On April 14th 2016 Pastor Jonathan Rodriguez called a meeting to all Hispanic's in the greater city of Coatesville to begin a long time coming initiative. Pastor Jonathan seen first hand the gaps and disconnect that exist between the City of Coatesville and the Hispanic community. These gaps are not intended, but rather as a result of cultural & language differences a social barrier has formed between our City and this thriving community.
"Its time to wake up the sleeping giant, for there to be a successful & positive change in our city all groups and communities need to be involved, church's, local business's, non-profits & the sleeping giant, the Hispanics" - Pastor Jonathan Rodriguez To take on and be a liaison for the Hispanic's has been in planning since late summer of 2015 when Pastor Jonathan seen a need within the Hispanic community of undocumented immigrants. The CCoC launched their first outreach program in January of 2016 "citizenship" with an endeavor to support this thriving community and see Hispanic's empowered to do better and live better. Our adopted mission: "To assist the Hispanic Community as well as serve as a liaison between the community and government entities in the great city of Coatesville. The Hispanic Commission of Coatesville will assist government, city officials, advance solutions and serve as a resource to ensure towards economic, educational, political and social well-being of the Hispanic community in the city of Coatesville." - Article I Section 1 Mission & philosophy: THCC "We are taking a stand to unite our community for a better future, we are UNIDOS La comision Hispana de Coatesville" - Pastor Jonathan Rodriguez Lets come together and support this beautiful, thriving community!
